4worldlovers: Desert Star Dance provides excellence in dance training for preschoolers through adults in a safe and healthy environment. We provide a family atmosphere and strive to maintain a balance between fun and discipline. We make dancing fun, yet always encourage our students to understand the dedication it takes to become an accomplished dancer. At Desert Star Dance there are classes for all levels of interest and a diverse array of styles to choose from. Our professional and experienced staff is devoted to sharing their knowledge of dance and performing arts. Our dancers go beyond technique to develop important life skills, learning to be respectful, confident & conscientious young people who share their gifts and talents with the community.

CID focuses on a hierarchy of measures to create a Safer Studio environment beginning with requiring students and staff who are ill to stay home, followed by frequent hand cleansing and good hygiene practices, amplified cleaning, and making curricular and facility adaptations to minimizing contact and mingling.

Teaches coordination and gross motor skills while introducing a love for dance and tumbling!

A positive learning environment for early social interactions while building on correct dance technique and fostering imagination, problem solving and listening skills!

Begins a foundation for posture, balance and rhythm with social interactions where cooperation and empathy are learned!

CID offers multiple opportunities for students of all ages and levels to dance and perform throughout the year, but we also offer so much more! Our facility is available for community use for a variety of events including individual and group rehearsing space, children’s birthday parties, and Girl Scout patch and bridge ceremonies. BalletEnjoyment of movement, expression, and sensitivity to music are combined with discipline in the study of ballet. It is an established technique with a scientific, anatomical approach to movement, teaching about the alignment and growth of the body.

Hip HopHip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking, locking, and popping which were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States.

Jazz is a form of dance that showcases a dancer's individual style and originality. Jazz is energetic and fun, consisting of unique moves, fancy footwork, big leaps and quick turns.

PointePointe class emphasizes strength while maintaining fluidity of movement. Pointe work is offered to students by teacher recommendation. Students must have a minimum of three years of ballet and be at least 11 years old to begin Pre-Pointe.

Musical TheaterMusical Theatre is a jazz-based class filled with Broadway style dancing and music. Classes incorporate the style of dance one would typically see on a Broadway stage.
