What is the cost, per foot, to build a custom home?

This is the most common question we get, but this is definitely subjective to the build. We can build a basic home for $150/ft, but that is a bare bones – formica counter top, linoleum floor – type of home. However, we can typically build a beautiful custom home in the $200/ft range, that's "true cost".

We are typically faster and more efficient then most custom home builders. However, on average a custom home build takes between 8 and 12 months.

Most custom home builders will quote a smaller upfront cost and then present you with multiple change-orders and introduce back-charges, and from our experience those homeowners end up paying more than our estimated "true cost". This is why we ask our clients to come see us with any other estimates or proposals to do an honest comparison.

There are several steps in the overall build process, but we prefer to be with you throughout the whole process. Starting before you select your lot and start drawing your plans.
