    A New Leaf’s East Valley Men’s Center is a safe haven for men facing homelessness in Arizona as they re-integrate into the community. When men arrive at the facility, they are immediately provided with a bed and storage area for their personal possessions that they are able to keep for the entire duration of their stay.

    Once the men have settled, our dedicated staff gets to work, helping residents plan a permanent housing plan. An onsite workforce also helps the residents build a resume, find references, and secure job interviews. A New Leaf strongly believes in offering a hand up to men willing to put in the effort to improve their lives.

    Through comfortable and stable living, comprehensive services, and compassionate attention to the challenges each man faces, A New Leaf helps men experiencing homelessness find their feet and become contributing members of the community once again.

    The first step to entering the East Valley Men’s Center is to complete a prescreen. You can fill out the prescreen online, or you can call 480-610-6722 between 8am-3pm Monday through Friday to complete it by phone.

    Helping the children enrolled in our programs to navigate through the trauma homelessness causes and supporting families by providing care to each child. With our support, we seek to address and end generational poverty and help our children reach their full potential.

    Building a foundation for housing and financial stability starts with families meeting their case plan goals and utilizing supportive services that include: career development, life-skill classes, substance abuse and mental health counseling and much more.

    We don't offer five-star accommodations or world-class chefs. While there's nothing wrong with these amenities, that's not what TLC's about.

    Most programs offering luxury amenities are operated by large for-profit corporations whose first question is about your insurance coverage. And when it runs out you're out the door until you get a new policy or win the lottery.

    TLC was started and is peer-run by addicts who know what you're going through because they've been there. They know that the addict's problem isn't lack of silk sheets, lovely spas, luxury housing, or horse whispering.

    At TLC we deal with gut-level recovery. Our treatment clinic is staffed with licensed behavioral health professionals who get to know their clients. And many of our staff members are themselves in recovery.

    Among these are 850 residential beds, a State licensed treatment program, recovery housing for individuals who have finished the program.

    These include on-the-job training under the supervision of our State licensed contractors in such trades as air conditioning and refrigeration, roofing and remodeling, painting, sheetrock, and more.

    Clients also may volunteer in other areas of TLC. These include telemarketing, landscaping, clerical and accounting services, convenience stores, the auto shop, and more.
