Dr Rick Shacket is a board certified specialist; certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Proctology, the American Board of Laser Surgery, and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Shacket received a Bachelors Degree from Hillsdale College, in Hillsdale, Michigan. He received his Medical Degree from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, in Pomona, California. He received postdoctoral training in homeopathic medicine from the American Medical College of Homeopathy, in Phoenix, Arizona. He is dually licensed by the State of Arizona as a Doctor of Medicine (Homeopathic), and as an Osteopathic Physician and Surgeon.
Dr. Shacket completed a medical internship at Hillside Hospital, in San Diego, California. Dr. Shacket completed a proctology residency program affiliated with Phoenix General Hospital in Arizona, where he received specialty training in anogenital diseases and anal rectal surgery. Dr. Shacket served on the Clinical Faculty of the Abrazo Central Campus Family Medicine Residency program, from 2012-2015. He was a Principal Investigator for nine pharmaceutical and medical device research studies, from 1998 to 2014.
