4worldlovers: In 2014, Melissa Hahne, the founder of Southwest Ballet Theatre (SWBT), approached Estrella Mountain Community College with the idea to bring something incredible to the West Valley.

Since then, with the support of the community and federal grants, SWBT has brought the highest quality instruction and professional performances and artists to our community.

SWBT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization which strives to enrich, uphold, and bring awareness of classical ballet to the West Valley of Phoenix.

Amazing studio with wonderful teachers. I love that the emphasis is on the love of dance and correct technique, with age appropriate dances and costuming. And the atmosphere is great, I love all the dancers and their dance moms! Definitely the studio to prepare your dancer for a career on the professional stage!
