We go above and beyond to ensure students are safe at all times. All of our trainers have successfully completed background checks, obtained fingerprint clearance, completed extensive in-car and in-class training, are randomly drug tested and are certified by the Arizona MVD. Most trainers are former school teachers or law enforcement officers, and have a high level of experience behind the wheel, in education and with teens. Stop and Go is the only driving school that offers an online curriculum approved by the Arizona MVD for Driver’s Education. Over the past 25 years, Stop and Go Driving School has successfully trained thousands of students who were not fluent in English. The only requirement, which comes from the MVD, is that everyone taking driving lessons from us understand the following verbal commands in English:

I went into driving school with zero to no behind the wheel practice. However, with Mina as my instructor I was able to make enormous amount of progress after the first drive. He gave me many useful tips and tricks along the way. He would correct me on my mistakes, but would not be negative about them. Which was very helpful especially since this was pretty much my first time driving. After 3 lessons I felt that the progress I had made was incredible. Mina definitely prepared me on what to expect and to better my driving. On my fourth drive, I felt confident going into the test because of Mina’s thorough preparation and I passed my test. 10/10 would recommend.

Once students have completed our 10 hrs. of driving Instructions, we will continue with route & parking evaluation. to earn a waiver test, student MUST pass this driving & Parking exam.
