This lush area is outstanding for bird watching. Adjacent to the lower portion of the Salt River, a stand of mesquite provides welcome shade. Coon Bluff is a popular river-access point (RAP) for tubers floating the Lower Salt River. It’s close proximity to the main cities allows for an easy escape and fun day-trip.

Day Use - year round. Overnight camping is allowed October 1 thru March 31 on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday nights before the following holidays: Columbus Day, Martin Luther King Jr’s Birthday (observed), and Presidents Day (observed). Overnight use will also be allowed on Thanksgiving Day through Saturday night.

Quiet hours 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (running generators are not permitted during quiet hours).

This site is 17 miles northeast of Mesa. From Mesa, travel 7 miles east on Superstition Freeway (US 60), to Power Road/Bush Highway/Forest Road (FR) 204 and turn north. Follow Bush Highway for 12 miles and turn north (left) on FR 204E and follow it one mile to the site. The entire route is paved.

Caution: fallen trees and other materials in the river can trap swimmers and floaters

4worldlovers: Twin Palms is a unique 15 space park close to shopping centers, hospitals, churches, restaurants, MLB Spring Training, hiking, golfing, museums, casinos, etc. Scottsdale is a short drive away, 20 minute drive to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, 30 minute drive to mayo clinic . ONE BLOCK FROM VALLEY METRO RAIL STATION (Main & Gilbert).

Each site is well groomed with pea-rock and a concrete patio. Most sites offer some type of shrubbery or young trees. Hookups include 30 and 50 amp service, sewer and water.

Free WI-FI. Clean restrooms with showers. COX HD cable TV with 100 plus channels included with a $100 cash refundable deposit for a cable box.

Pets (limit of 2) are ok with approval plus $2 per day fee (outdoor pet enclosures prohibited).

We ask that RV's be newer than 10 years old. Pop-up campers, tiny homes, converted school buses, or home made RVs can not be accommodated.

Located on Main Street, between Gilbert and Lindsay Roads, directly across from Camping World and their huge American flag.

You'll see, not far from the Mesa/Apache Junction KOA, where giant saguaro cacti rise from the Sonoran Desert floor against a backdrop of craggy granite ramparts. Drive the 145-mile Apache Trail loop, resplendent with deep canyons, rugged trails and pristine lakes. Also nearby, climb a short path up to ancient cliff-dweller Indian ruins at Tonto National Monument. Explore with off-road jeep tours or guided horseback rides into the foothills. Phoenix is 30 miles west of the campground, with great restaurants, museums and a choice of Major League Baseball spring training games. A heated pool, a hot tub, assorted games and fine hospitality await at KOA. Savor them as the sun sets over the mountains. Pool: Open all year. Max pull thru: 65 feet.


Very nice large & wide pull through sites. Campground well maintained & nice check in experience. However, men's restroom needs a facelift, dog park also needs improvements, Wi Fi very poor... 9/14/2023


We loved our stay! The staff was friendly and helpful. The campsite was clean and easy to enter/exit. I wish the pool would be open just an hour later, but I understand the noise concern. Overall we are definitely looking to return in the future. 9/12/2023

Had a great stay there. Only problem we had was with the bugs. Bought ice and water there at the campground and there were bugs in the ice. �Ͻ In the shower rooms too but not as big of a deal as in the ice. Very nice campground to stay at. Easy to park in. 8/29/2023
