I am so happy that we found such a loving and caring place for my mother. Aldridge and Rosemary are two of the kindest and caring people. They keep a very clean home. They are very attentive to the residents needs. The meals are appetizing and healthy. Aldridge and Rosemary live in the home with their two children. I like this set up it feels like a normal home. I have been in many group homes, and the way this home is run is by far superior to anything I’ve seen.

My relative spent the last year of her life at La Bella Vita. I am so grateful for the care she received in this home. From day one, Aldrich and Roseanne and their children treated her like family, even referring to her by the title "Momma" or "Grandma". Those are titles she had never had before, and it warmed my heart for her to have that experience. She was loved, cherished, valued, and treated with respect. I had zero complaints, and my views were reaffirmed by the hospice staff that visited her in her last days. La Bella Vita is a unique home in that it is not staffed with employees, but rather the residents are enveloped into the lives of this family. Two young children and a sweet dog provide hours of fun and entertainment. She and the 4 year old became the best of buds, and I enjoyed watching videos of their companionship. I am so grateful to the owners and staff at La Bella Vita. They are taking such good care of my father-in-law. They are kind, patient, and gentle with him. We visit often at various times and always find him clean and well cared for. They keep each resident's room and main areas of the home clean. It has never had that offensive smell the some living facilities have. I would highly recommend La Bella Vita to anyone looking for a nice, clean, safe place for their loved one.

We license families and individuals to care for children that have been removed from their homes due a number of different reasons, including abuse, neglect, or abandonment. We also license families and individuals to care for children and adults with disabilities. StepStone Family & Youth Services is a culturally aware agency and licenses families to care for children from Tribal Communities.

As a licensing agency, our responsibility is to assist you with the licensing process. Your family will have a family specialist assigned to you to assist with both licensing and ongoing needs. The family specialist will work with you to build a profile based on your skills and family dynamics.

Our placement team works to match a child in need of a home with your profile. We will be an advocate for you and your placement to ensure needs are met. We will assist in finding services and resources to assist your family and placement.

StepStone Family & Youth Services has a behavior specialist to assist your family in learning new and creative ways to manage behaviors. We have nurses to train families in any medical care situation (i.e. feeding tubes, breathing treatments) that may be required for placement.
