4worldlovers: The Villa is a five bed Hospice Inpatient Unit designed to meet the needs of patients and their families in a deinstitutionalized, home-like environment. Although The Villa is available mainly to patients requiring short-term intensive care for symptoms unmanageable at home, it is also appropriate for patients approaching the end-stage of their illness. Hospice patients can also stay at The Villa for 5 days under Respite Care to provide relief or rest for family and care-givers. Skilled care is provided by a hospice team of dedicated, compassionate professionals.

Medicare and most insurance plans will cover the services provided at the acute and respite levels of care. When care at the facility is no longer medically necessary, the cost of room and board become the responsibility of the patient and family.

The Hospice Team consists of a Physician, Nurse, Hospice Aide, Social Worker, Spiritual Counselor, Volunteer and Bereavement Manager. In addition, we also have therapists and after-hours triage staff.


A team manages a patients pain and discomfort as well offers support for the family around the emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of death and dying.

Necessary equipment such as wheelchairs, oxygen and hospital beds are covered by the hospice benefit and most private insurance and are delivered to your home.

The Medicare Hospice Benefit covers services related to the terminal diagnosis up to 100% by Medicare Part A. We provide the same high quality of care to everyone.

Medications and supplies related to your terminal diagnosis are covered by the hospice benefit and delivered to your home. The patient and/or standard insurance may pay for unrelated medications.

Respite Care allows a family caregiver to get a break of up to five consecutive days and nights from caregiving duties while the patient is cared for in a Medicare-certified inpatient facility.
