4worldlovers: Located in Phoenix, Focus Climbing Center is a next generation climbing gym aimed at educating and inspiring individuals through a unique rock climbing experience.

Our direct connection to Arizona’s climbing roots allows us to share the sport of climbing to all generations in an authentic way others can’t. We offer programs, training tools and terrain to meet the needs of every climber, from the first time walk-in to the elite climber athlete.

Whether you are climbing, or just belaying, we must have a completed waiver on file.


Also, all children under 12 need an adult belayer to hold the rope for them. There is no charge for just belaying, and all the required equipment and training is provided.


Everyone Must Have a Hands-On Orientation from a PRG Staff Member


There is no additional charge for the orientation. After the orientation you are free to climb elsewhere in the gym on your own.


Almost each month the PRG hosts a FREE mini competition (you must have a membership or pay for a day pass). Each comp is designed differently with many different formats: Flash, Redpoint, Dyno, Upsie Downsie, Anything Goes, and more. Easy stuff, hard stuff for all ages. Come check out the fun and learn something new to prepare you for your next sanctioned competition against your super climber heros!


We are located in Aztech Court on the southeast corner of University & Dorsey (halfway between Rural & McClintock).

Black Rock Bouldering Gym is first, and foremost, a training center and fitness facility. Parents must take the upmost care to keep their child(ren) and other members and guests safe.

The following rules are in place to help provide a safer and more enjoyable experience for everyone:

There must be 1 ADULT FOR EVERY 1 CHILD under 3 years old in your group.

THERE must be 1 ADULT FOR EVERY 2 CHILDREN that are 3-13 years old in your group.

All children 13 and younger must be directly & actively supervised - this means keeping children within arm's reach at all times.

Children under 16 are not permitted in the Fitness & Training Area unless directly supervised by an approved BRBG Coach. Exceptions may be made by management.

We will also have climber education classes such as Bouldering Technique, Raise Your Grade, and Transitioning to Outdoor Climbing.
