She choose to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team in Glendale because she believes that the quality control and vision will advance acupuncture and make it mainstream. Outside of work, Terry loves to teach Martial Arts, do DIY projects, and do outdoor activities such as archery.

Dr. Ferrell has been providing leadership as a medical director for over 20 years and is board certified in Emergency Medicine—which he has practiced for 23 years. He is a trained and certified medical aesthetic medical director. He received his MD as well as his MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He ensures appropriate medical supervision of the patient care policies, procedures, and protocols used at Modern Acupuncture for their nutritional IV Therapy drips and Vitamin Shots. Dr. Ferrell has healthcare executive experience as a senior vice-president with Envision Healthcare—a fortune 500 company—specializing in operations. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and a member of the executive team for Scottsdale Emergency Associates. He is the former medical director of the Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Emergency Department, chairman of Pharmacy and Therapeutics for Honor Health and chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine as well as a member of the Medical Executive committee for the Honor Health system. His research interests include optimizing pain management and patient satisfaction as well as physician motivation/efficiency. He lives in Peoria with his wife and four children and is an avid golfer.
