The Great Arizona Puppet Theatre welcomes you! We are open year round, performing shows at the theater Wednesday through Sunday.


This year the Great Arizona Puppet Theater is turning 40. It's over the hill! So, we are throwing a party since it has lasted this long as a small non-profit company. That means this theater is indeed the 8th Wonder of the World. We're having a spectacular gala to properly celebrate this achievement. Check out our Imagine This Project. This creative project gets the kids of Kenilworth Elementary School to write stories and craft puppets like professionals.

A favorite fairy tale is back on the big stage, performed with rod puppets and projected scenery! Come enjoy this classic story about a spoiled princess who learns important lessons about friendship and keeping her promises. We are so proud of the work we do with our small staff of professional puppeteers and theater artists and we are excited to re-open our doors after over a year! Throughout the worst of the pandemic, we provided drive-in shows to families who needed a break out of the house to see live entertainment.
