Phoenix Dance Cooperative is a structured, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by parents.

We are very different from the other dance studios in Phoenix. The driving force behind the organization is to provide high-quality dance instruction with a focus on competition as a group while fostering a loving environment with a strong sense of community.

As a non-profit, all revenue is directed toward recruiting and retaining the BEST choreographers available.

Maintaining a clean, safe environment for our dancers is our top priority.

The management of PDC is performed by an elected Board of Directors supported by committees.

We are a parent-owned and parent-controlled business that distributes benefits based on usage. As members of the cooperative, parents make a financial investment through dues. They have a say in the cooperative’s operations by exercising a one-member, one-vote policy to elect a board of directors. Members receive benefits, such as better prices, improved instruction and facilities, and the ability to make tax-deductible donations, in proportion to their level of dance commitment. A cooperative is typically incorporated under state incorporation laws, which grants member-owners limited liability protection.
