4worldlovers: Our story is simple. We are two life-long friends who had one goal in mind: to create a quality product and bring it to hungry people throughout the valley. Aioli Burger started with one food truck in Phoenix, grew into three tucks, became a full catering company, and now we have 2 brick and mortar burger joint locations. When it came to choosing our first restaurant location it was an easy decision. Let’s go back to where it all started: the neighborhood where we grew up, right there on 32nd Street and Shea. Our next location opened up at 7th and Bell in 2020.

Exploring Life and Business with Kyle Hollenbeck of Aioli Gourmet Burgers, Modern Tortilla, Oakwood Fire Pizza, and BlT Kitchens

We started out with one food truck 8 years ago. We have grown it into four restaurant locations, 10 food trucks, two commercial Kitchens (Another on the way), and a full catering company. It has not always been easy from food trucks breaking down, employees quitting on you, or dealing with a pandemic but we have always managed to get it figured out. When we started this business, we just wanted to bring gourmet burgers to people off a food truck.

Chef Tommy was born and raised here in the valley along with his business partner Kyle Hollenbeck. Tommy went to NAU and PVCC here in Arizona. He also took his studies to Hyde Park NY at The Culinary Institute of America. He came back home to open a food truck business with his friends from high school and the rest is history. Kyle has a background in sales and marketing. His skills along with Chef Tommy have made them successful entrepreneurs.
