Bryan Zazueta-Silvain has been an excelling as a young musician since he first enrolled at Rosie’s House 9 years ago, taking introductory violin and piano classes. He continued his dedication to violin through elementary school and joined Rosie’s House Mariachi in 6th grade. Studying violin at Rosie’s House taught him persistence and patience. He shares, “Violin is such a difficult instrument to be able to learn. The first time I got a clear sound from my violin, it felt good to know they I was improving and that I could keep getting better.”

Congratulations to Bryan for graduated high school in May 2023 and enrolled at College of the Holy Cross on a full-ride scholarship beginning Fall 2023. At College of the Holy Cross, he is studying Psychology and Music. Post college, he plans to pursue a career in education, either for music or psychology.

Bryan says, “Music will always be a part of my daily life. It is a way for me to relax during stressful times and a way for me to express myself and connect with other people. Because of Rosie’s House, I have become much more persistent in learning something new and in studying for classes. I have learned to not give up easily.”
