Ten years back we placed my mother in the care of Lookout Mountain Assisted Living. My father would visit her just about every day. He was completely satisfied with the level of care that Myra, Art and the staff provided, along with the kindness shown to him especially at the time of her passing. When the time came that my father was not able to live on his own we placed him in the care of Lookout Mountain Assisted Living. He received the same exception level of care from the first day there through his passing this July. I would highly recommend Lookout Mountain Assisted Living for the exception level of care and compassion that Myra, Art and all the staff provide. They were easy to contact and were able to answer any question or concerns I had during both of my parents stays at their facility. Lookout Mountain was my mother’s home for 7 years. She moved in while still ambulatory and remained until receiving compassionate end of life care. Myra and Art Deboda provide an outstanding safe, clean, healthy and loving environment for each and everyone of their residents. They treat every resident as an individual addressing each need as they arise--whether it is specific doctor care, dietary needs and desires, comfort, stimulation and entertainment needs. Because I lived out of state I visited my mother 3-4 times a year but I probably spoke with Mayra at least 2-3 times a month on the phone to receive status updates and discuss Mother’s needs as her health declined. Important to me was the home environment. The home maintained excellent cleanliness standards and the caregivers were consistent and responsible.
