BEST ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENTS EVER! I've had treatments from a few other practitioners; Kristi Harter is by far the best I've experienced. She is extremely thorough, not just talking to you for a minute and putting a few needles in. She has a lengthy conversation about not only your immediate pain but other health issues that may be affecting it as well. Then she takes time to find the correct insertion points FOR YOU, not just a general location. Plus she has a stimulation machine that increases the success and length of relief of the treatment. Kristi is genuinely concerned with helping you feel better as soon as possible. You won't get the impression it is all about her making a buck here. She is more interested in your well being and improved health. I came to her with pretty severe lower back pain (bulging discs) that had popped up after a long trip. In two treatments I felt markedly better. The thing that was surprising was that I have not walked well since a bad fall four years ago. Yet when I leave Harter, I feel more erect and powerful/in control of my gait. You've got to love that! Don't waste your money elsewhere! I will go to Harter Acupuncture for all my treatments from now on.

I went to Kristi for the first time today, after injuring my back a week ago. Previous to seeing her, I was in the ER twice and went to see a chiropractor. She took loving time to sit with me and get to know what my body, mind and spirit was working with. She tapped into my energies and offered wonderful insight as to what she could offer me and what would make sense to for immediate pain relief and begin healing at this first visit. She was gentle with her approach, and obviously very well knowledge. I sunk into her care and felt immediate comfort and release of pain. I was relaxed and she explained everything she was doing. I am so glad I went to see her, and scheduled another session before leaving. Thank you Kristi!

Kristy is really knowledgable and thoughtful about the treatments she recommends. She can explain everything she does and why she is doing it. I have had back pain all my life and in two or three cupping treatments she has helped the pain immensely and I feel a lot more even. This is my first experience with acupuncture too and I love how calm and happy I feel after a treatment. I definitely recommend Kristy, she is a highly capable, caring practitioner.

Best ever! I have suffered migraines FOREVER and she was able to make them almost non-existant. It took 12 sessions, but she has a very affordable treatment plan. Well worth it!!

William attended the Phoenix institute of herbal medicine and acupuncture where he became a licensed acupuncturist. His interest in Chinese medicine started when he was young and attended martial arts classes. He learned a lot from his instructor who eventually suggested he learn about acupuncture. The thing he enjoys most about his job is being able to help others. After graduating from school, he found Modern Acupuncture and was drawn to it because he would be able to do what he loves and gain the most experience he could. In his free time William still enjoys practicing martial arts and meditating.

Renee is a graduate of Midwest College if Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has spent a lot of time working with the Veteran’s Choice program. This has given her much insight into serious health issues such as PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Neuropathy, and all types of chronic pain conditions.

She decided to pursue a career as an acupuncturist because she began receiving acupuncture treatments at 16. The treatments did so much more than treat her symptoms. After a few visits, she felt calmer and happier. The positive shift was enough to start her curiosity and gave her the drive to learn more!
