Was founded in Portland, Oregon in 1953 by Les Highet and Erma Hueneke. Drawing upon their many years of experience in the culinary field, and their extensive working knowledge of authentic national and ethnic pancake recipes they were able to offer without compromise this unique and original menu which has gained national acclaim. Our recipes demand only the very finest of ingredients, such as 93 score butter, pure 36% whipping cream, fresh grade AA eggs, hard wheat unbleached flour, and our own recipe sourdough starter. Our batters and sauces are made fresh in each restaurant’s kitchen.


Our signature items include the Apple Pancake, a single large pancake smothered with sautéed apples and cinnamon sugar baked to perfection, to create a deliciously rich cinnamon sugar glaze.


Another signature item is the Dutch Baby, an air filled delight oven baked to golden perfection and served with lemon, whipped butter and powdered sugar to create a mouthwatering blend.

This was my 2nd visit, so that alone should say something. I had the loaded potato omelette and my friend ordered the banana bread french toast. It was all delicious, the potatoes crispy, I really enjoyed all of it, definitely recommend for a great breakfast spot!

Flew into AZ for the first time with my husband. Food was great and full of flavor! Definitely recommend, it gets busy so arrive before rush but it is worth the wait! The fresh pressed orange was one of our favorites!

This place has turned me into a breakfast enthusiast. LOVE Butters! Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly! Parking: A bit difficult to find parking. Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

Didn't take pictures because it looked so good I had to dig in. We loved eating here so much and want to try their whole menu, we want to try and come once a month, and that's saying a lot since we are all the way in Goodyear. Definitely recommend, their omelets are so fluffy and smooth you will be amazed.

It was a great experience the food tasted so yummy and delicious, I would say it doesn’t taste like any other breakfast places it’s unique! Make sure you go earlier cause they always have long waiting list, we had to wait 40 minutes to sit out side. Also no worries about the heat cause the have the best misting fans

Favorite breakfast place !! The fresh orange juice is my fav!! The scrambled eggs are the best I’ve ever had . Great prices and worth the wait ( there will be a wait)

Great breakfast. I had huevos rancheros and my husband had a veggie omelet, both were excellent. We also shared Oreo pancakes. I thought they were a bit too sweet, but my husband loved them.

Everyone was nice and they didn't chase us out as we had maybe last 45 mins or so very nice to us... recommend if you want need brunch
