The health and safety of JFCS clients, staff and volunteers is our highest priority. It is our goal to continue to provide you services with as little interruption to your care as possible. In order to provide social distancing options, we are now offering our clients the ability to receive routine care from JFCS health professionals through a video connection on their smartphones in the comfort of their own home. These are also known as “telehealth appointments”.

Caren Pfieffer began her nursing career in 2008. She worked as a registered nurse in the emergency room nearly 5 years. In 2013, she earned a Master’s of Science degree in Advanced Nursing from The University of Arizona. She holds a certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from The American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Caren is experienced in community health setting with managing complex health conditions such as diabetes, COPD and hypertension. Her medical background includes internal medicine, pediatrics, and women’s health.

Caren enjoys spending time with her daughter, her rescue dog and getting outdoors to run, hike and garden.
