4worldlovers: Please join us at our upcoming PFLAG Sedona/Verde Valley Support Meeting on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the Sedona Public Library (3250 White Bear Road, Sedona) and on Zoom. The Zoom link is noted below.

Thank you for your continued support of PFLAG Sedona/Verde Valley! At the beginning of our September 12th meeting, we will conduct our Annual Meeting and Election of the Board of Directors for the next fiscal year (October 1, 2023-September 30, 2024). The Agenda for the Annual Meeting is attached.

PFLAG Sedona/Verde Valley is one of only three remaining PFLAG chapters in Arizona. The other two are Yuma and Sierra Vista. If you support our mission, then please become a member or renew your membership. Only current members are allowed to serve on the board or to vote in board elections, so if your membership is not current, please renew before our next meeting on September 12th. As part of our meeting, we will also be having a goal-setting session to help guide the new Board during the next fiscal year. We need your input and assistance! We want to know what you would like us to be working on and focusing on this next year.

So come to our meeting on September 12, 2023 and meet your new PFLAG Sedona/Verde Valley Board of Directors and help shape our work over this next year!

After the presentation, we will have our usual support group at 7:30 PM. As always, you may attend the first hour, second hour, or both.

After more than 40 years of advocacy in Phoenix, our new logo reflects the work we do to Support, Engage and Empower the LGBTQ+ community, aligns with the spirit of our S.E.E. campaign with its lens shape and incorporates the colors representing a rainbow of diverse identities in the progressive flag.

As a community, we’ve come a long way. And we know that progress has been hard fought. At Phoenix Pride, we also recognize that we still have more to accomplish. So we continue moving forward.
