Very professional! Tony Goldman was a delight. He knew his business. Fidel, the crew chief, was very thorough both before and after the job of cleaning the attic and replacing the insulation. Michael Ortiz's team from Attic Construction did a superb job cleaning and reinsulating our attic. As promised, they called 30 minutes before arrival. The first thing Mr. Ortiz did was a walk through while explaining exactly what the team would be doing during the day. We began and ended the day with turning on lights, appliances & central AC/Heat, making sure that no damage had been done to anything in the attic. While he was in the attic, Michael even swapped the AC/Heat filter for me! We have three dogs and the crew made friends with them. The crew members were also careful about being sure the dogs didn't get out.

I found Attic Construction on yelp and wanted to add my own review to the other excellent reviews I read when I was searching for insulation. Tony came out first to give me the estimate, respecting my tight time constraints, and explained every little detail with a booming personality! He and the company worked within my budget and scheduled the work in my schedule. The crew that came out were on time, respectful, thorough, and professional. The 40-yr-old insulation is now replaced with a generous amount of pretty pink fluff in a bleached clean attic, and they sealed all the places where critters may want to come in to reside (not in my attic now!)

I hired Attic Construction to do an attic cleanup as well as air vent cleaning to a home we recently purchased. Their rates were very affordable and they should up on time for the appointment. The two technician were very courteous and respectful. They also installed a new thermostat for us and they had an issue with the dual zoning system we had. They promised to be back to fix the issue and the next day I got a call from the manager to schedule another special technician to fix the issue who showed up the same day. Technician was very knowledgeable and he fixed the issue right away as well as re-connecting a broken duct we had as a courtesy.

Dave started installing insulation with his dad and brothers then eventually, as he got older, began selling and managing. Dave’s brothers went off to do their own thing and Dave decided to branch out on his own. Sundance was formed with a truckload of insulation and a friend (Tony Miller, who to this day, oversees daily operations) to help him install it. In the beginning, he would take any job, sometimes jobs other insulation companies didn’t want. He’ll admit that the beginning years were tough! He lost money, made mistakes, lived on Hamburger Helper (and still loves it to this day) and had to borrow money to pay his mortgage, but he kept going. With determination and will, Dave eventually added Drywall contracting after saving every extra penny to buy an old truck with a rack for drywall. He now had Sundance Insulation & Drywall. The two trades go hand in hand, so it was a step in the right direction.

Today, Dave continues to be involved in the daily sales, management and operation of the business. Dave’s wife works in the office along with his oldest son who is a sales rep part-time on his “off” days as a Phoenix Fireman and his youngest son works part-time, while in school, as a mechanic. Along with family members, Tony Miller (General Superintendent), and his brother Rob Miller (Senior Estimator) and JR Bene (Quality Control and Customer Service Manager) have been with Sundance for over three decades.
