4worldlovers: We have exciting news – your favorite place for ice-cream and delicious treats is getting a renovation! Starting Monday, June 26, Hartley’s General Store will be closed for the remainder of the summer months while we complete interior updates. Select snacks, drinks and frozen items will still be available for purchase in the Snackstop Caboose, located next to the main playground. Hours are 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. everyday. Stay tuned for when Hartley’s will be officially re-opened!

4worldlovers: The purpose of the Maricopa Live Steamers is to preserve the heritage of railroading by establishing, operating, and maintaining educational operating facilities for the free use and enjoyment of the public using scale model railroad equipment.

Maricopa Live Steamers is within the Adobe Western Railroad Park and contains 18 miles of 7 ½” gauge track with multiple routes. We also have 1,500 feet of 4 ¾” gauge track with easy loading.

This land is part of the Maricopa County Park District who requires all visitors and members of various clubs using the park to complete their General Release Waiver. This may be completed online by clicking on the following “Online Smart Waiver” link. If you prefer completing a paper copy and bringing it with you to the park, click on the “PDF Liability Waiver” link. Please complete the waiver prior to visiting.

Join us every Sunday, Oct.-April between 11am & 3pm and take a ride on our trains. Rides are free, and a train ride is a great way to spend some family time together. We run multiple routes, so you can experience different views in the park. Be sure to fill out the waiver above before you arrive.

MLS is the perfect place for birthday parties, company picnics, reunions, meetings and other functions. Our party areas are available on Sundays during our regular run season and can be scheduled any time between 11 am & 3 pm
