We are a faith based, trauma informed, non-profit organization that provides vulnerable women and teen girls with education, mentoring, and support.

Our mission is to engage, encourage, and equip vulnerable women and teen girls by providing support for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Our goal is to equip women in building healthy relationships, bring healing and wholeness to traumatized lives, and help women discover their true value and worth.

Hope Women’s Center currently has six centers to engage, encourage, and equip vulnerable women and teen girls across Arizona, a Maternity Home (formerly Abide Maternity Home) and a Thrift Store.

We seek to energize the community to stand with us, work beside us and become one with us as we extend our hand to those who are in need.

UMOM provides shelter, services and affordable housing for single women and families experiencing homelessness in the Metro Phoenix area.

Our programs are built around a simple formula: jobs + housing = ending homelessness. We work hand-in-hand with every person we serve to solve that formula alongside them. From emergency shelter to affordable housing, UMOM offers a full slate of vital services, rooted in a foundation of trust and proactive support.

The issue is unmistakable. The numbers say that across America, more and more people are sleeping on the streets. But we don’t need numbers to tell us what we see in our neighborhoods every day. It’s not just folks who suffer from severe mental illnesses or addictions, or who choose to drift from place to place. Now more than ever before, it’s everyday families who have fallen on hard times. Incomes have fallen, housing prices are up, and getting help is a bureaucratic nightmare. Whether it’s because of lost income, lack of education, addictions, or something else entirely, we believe every family deserves a chance to rebuild their lives.

From emergency shelter to affordable housing, UMOM offers a full slate of vital services, rooted in a foundation of trust and proactive support.

Our unique approach is empathetic, connection-focused, and individualized to every person. We work side-by-side with our clients to solve their housing crisis holistically, recognizing that each situation requires a personal touch and a listening ear. We hold them accountable to their goals, and we hold our programs accountable to real results.

When we tuck our kids into bed, brush our teeth, set the alarm clock for the next day, and settle in for the night, we are experiencing a peace that many of our neighbors have lost. UMOM exists to restore that peace: to give every family safety, stability, and hope for the future.

Located on the UMOM Campus, Helpings Café and Catering offers food with a purpose. The menu includes specialty coffee, freshly baked pastries, and delicious breakfast and lunch items prepared in-house by our talented team.

A New Leaf’s East Valley Men’s Center is a safe haven for men facing homelessness in Arizona as they re-integrate into the community. When men arrive at the facility, they are immediately provided with a bed and storage area for their personal possessions that they are able to keep for the entire duration of their stay.

Once the men have settled, our dedicated staff gets to work, helping residents plan a permanent housing plan. An onsite workforce also helps the residents build a resume, find references, and secure job interviews. A New Leaf strongly believes in offering a hand up to men willing to put in the effort to improve their lives.

Through comfortable and stable living, comprehensive services, and compassionate attention to the challenges each man faces, A New Leaf helps men experiencing homelessness find their feet and become contributing members of the community once again.

The first step to entering the East Valley Men’s Center is to complete a prescreen. You can fill out the prescreen online, or you can call 480-610-6722 between 8am-3pm Monday through Friday to complete it by phone.
