4worldlovers: As you can see from these pictures of our latest activities, we love doing stuff with our residents. We want them to feel young again. We try to provide our assisted living residents with a host of activities that are commensurate with their abilities and desires. Even if they have memory care issues, we have activities that will still keep them stimulated.


And we try to engage many residents at once. We believe in the health benefits of spending time with other happy people are enormous. Just because someone is in assisted living or memory care doesn’t mean they can’t be active. Of course, we also respect resident’s privacy if they need time alone as well.

We have a personal trainer that either comes to the home or does a virtual workout 3-5 times a week with the residents. The training is done in a group setting so it becomes a social gathering. We’ve had some success with moving people out of bed and wheelchairs through the training.


Our assisted living and memory care homes are in quiet residential neighborhoods around Phoenix so we try to have our residents go outside as much as we can (other than the crazy hot Phoenix Arizona summers!). That means walks around the neighborhood or time spent in our landscaped back yards.


Besides activities in the homes, we’d like to take your loved one out on field trips from time to time (assuming your they are up for the trip). This could mean anything from dining at local restaurants to:

4worldlovers: After touring many assisted living homes to purchase one for our own business, we concluded that even though friendly folks ran some lovely homes, there was not one where we would have wanted to be placed should that need arise.

More often than not, residents were sharing a bedroom with another resident, and even when private bedrooms were available, they were still sharing a bathroom with several other residents. This was not the “feel” of the home we wanted to own and operate.
