Nationally, farmland is lost to development at the rapid rate of 80 acres per hour. As the 4th largest and fastest growing county in the country, Maricopa County is no exception to this trend. Blue Sky Organic Farms will lose 70% of our land by July 2021. We are not the only farm in the area facing this threat. Commercial and residential developments will dramatically alter our local landscapes and diminish our food production abilities in the immediate future.

We are USDA Harmonized GAP Plus+ certified (HGAP+). This is a separate audit completed by the USDA. This certification means we have the best agricultural practices in place to verify that our vegetables are produced, packed, handled, and stored in the safest manner possible to minimize risks of microbial food safety hazards. We are proud to be the only farm in the state that carries this certification.

4worldlovers: We make all natural handmade cruelty-free goat milk soap right on our farm in Surprise, AZ. We milk our own goats to make our luxurious goat milk soaps!! The benefits of Raw goat milk is rich in vitamins and minerals to help people with sensitive skin, dry skin, itchiness, psoriasis, eczema, anti-aging, sunburns, and fine line wrinkles. We use-shea, cocoa, kokum, and mango butters and coconut oil, sweet almond oil, organic extra virgin olive oil, and clay powder(for color) which adds additional benefits to brighten, cleanse, hydrate and leave your skin flawless, making you feel that you stepped out of a spa. Each bar is scented with premium fragrance oils ( paraben and phthalate free) and essential oils. January thru June is our kidding season. Our ADGA Registered Nubian’s come from great blood and milk lines. Each kid will be disbudded, tattooed, and come with ADGA Registered Application form. The prices for each kid will vary due to the lines. Every year our herd is tested for CL, Johne’s, and CAE. We are clean herd. For reservations we do ask for a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 that will go towards the balance your kid.

We have weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly options available, depending on how much produce your family consumes. You can pickup at the farmers market for $30 or have it delivered for $35, if you’re within a 20 mile radius of our farm (enter your zip code to check availability in your area after clicking order now, then click a box option.) Each box contains 8-12 locally grown vegetables, fruits, eggs, and/or microgreens. You may cancel at any time, we just ask for 1-week notice prior to your cancellation. Still not sure? Here are some of the benefits to buying our produce subscription:

Your produce will last longer - you can expect locally grown produce to last 2-3 weeks. The produce that you buy in the grocery store has traveled for thousands of miles in some cases, which cuts into the shelf life.

Our produce is chemical free - rest assured your family isn’t eating produce that has been sprayed with harmful pesticides. We don’t want our kids eating that junk!

It’s more nutritious - produce starts to lose 30% of it’s nutrient density within the first 3 days after harvesting. This is another one of the big benefits to eating locally grown fruits and vegetables.

We include microgreens in our boxes. These little dudes have been studied, and scientists found them to be 4 to 40 times more nutritious than their mature vegetable, pound for pound. That’s like eating a plant based multi-vitamin!

The Farm Stand is located at Peoria and 151st Avenues in Waddell, just south of Surprise and just a few miles from the Loop 303.
