Because of this, I do not spend time playing games with your child, but rather teaching only swimming skills. Your child will spend each of his or her turns in the water practicing life-saving swimming skills.

We have class every day to encourage their muscles to remember what to do in an emergency. This is called "muscle memory." A very young child must practice a skill almost daily in order to retain the skill as an an automatic response. Practicing daily also allows them to retain each skill learned in order to build skills at a rapid pace.

God has given me a love of teaching and I have been blessed to work with kids over the years as a preschool teacher, a substitute teacher, childcare provider, and as a foster parent. We have six children ranging in ages from 23 to 9.


I started the Parker's Piranhas Swim School after my children had the pleasure of being taught by an amazing swim instructor who encouraged me to start my own swim business and helped train me.

Teaching children to be safe in and around water is our number one priority – particularly in an area where almost every house has a swimming pool. We not only have to protect our children in our own homes, but in other homes as well. In addition to teaching children to swim, we provide their parents with helpful safety information.

Our swim school provides year-round swimming lessons. As with any progressively-learned skill, success does not come in two weeks or even eight weeks of lessons. Learning to swim is a life-long skill. At AquaSafe, our classes are on-going. Most of our students attend one, often two days a week, all year long.

AquaSafe Swim School provides an alternative to ‘typical’ swim lessons. We proudly provide year-round, small group instruction in our warm indoor swimming pool where parents can watch their children’s progress from the comfortable viewing gallery. Our instructors are experienced, caring professionals who have a passion for teaching swimming and water safety.

We offer year-round swim lessons for ages 6 weeks to adult. Customers have the flexibility to begin and end classes based on their needs. We accept customers any time! Simply prioritize days and times that work for your family, and then give us a call to see what’s available.

This is an excellent opportunity for kids ages 5 to 17 to “get their feet wet” in competition. Our goal with this program is to promote teamwork and good sportsmanship while continuing to foster a love for swimming in an encouraging and welcoming environment.
