4worldlovers: The Travel Reduction Program (TRP) Office, which provides travel reduction services branded as Capitol Rideshare, is a program mandated under ARS 49-588, a subsection of the Travel Reduction Program law. This law requires all employers in Maricopa County with 50 or more employees to implement a plan to reduce the number of employees who drive alone to the work site to 60 percent or less of the agency’s total employee population (the Single Occupancy Vehicle rate). Per statute, employees eligible for the travel reduction program services are defined as an employee who works at or reports to a single work site during any twenty-four hour period for at least three days per week during at least six months of the year.

Capitol Rideshare offers a variety of incentives and resources to help state employees share the ride. Staff will work with you to help find the option that best meets your needs. PTS understands ASU students may want the film in a parking garage or lot for a class project. You must request approval to film in any ASU parking garage or lot.

By authority Section 15-1627, Arizona Revised Statutes, as amended, the Associate Vice President of Administration has general responsibility for approving and adopting the following rules and regulations for the control of vehicles on all property owned and/or managed by Arizona State University. The Arizona Board of Regents intends that ASU Parking and Transit Services shall be financially self-supporting through receipt of fees from all persons who park at ASU. All revenue received from permit sales, visitor parking fees and citation payments are reinvested back into the Parking and Transit Services budget to fund the campus shuttle services, the subsidized transit passes, parking facility maintenance and other university initiatives. No tuition funds are used for PTS options.
