Dr. Steven Lujan (you can call him Dr. Steven) joined The Joint in October of 2022. He is stationed at the McDowell Mountain Village location in Scottsdale on Wednesdays, as well as the Tempe Shops locations on Thursdays.

For chiropractic school, he attended Southern California University of Health Sciences and graduated in 2020. He also attended Arizona State University where he studied Kinesiology and graduated in 2012.

The best aspect of being in the chiropractic field is the ability to help the body heal and recover so that others may live life to their full potential and reach their goals. Another great characteristic of chiropractic care is utilizing a holistic approach to healthcare.

He previously worked at clinics in Fullerton, California, as well as Chandler and Phoenix.

Dr. Steven was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, but grew up in Ahwatukee, Arizona.

In the doctor’s spare time, he enjoys playing golf, hiking, spending time with his family, traveling, listening to music and attending concerts. He also enjoys watching sports. He is a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, which has allowed him to develop a very thick skin and a strong character (this year is our year)!

Dr. Steven has been receiving chiropractic care since he was 10 years old. After consistent chiropractic treatment helped him recover from several sports, back, shoulder and nerve-related injuries, Dr. Steven decided to pursue chiropractic as a profession. He also worked as a chiropractic assistant for 5 years following his education at ASU, which solidified his decision to become a chiropractor.

Doctor Kozar is originally from California, where he attended Southern California University of Health Sciences and received his doctorate in Chiropractic with certificates in radiography and physiotherapy. He has been a licensed chiropractor for over 20 years. He also has a master’s degree in Nutrition from Logan University, which he received in 2017.

Dr. Kozar enjoys helping his patients maintain or regain their health, especially through natural means, such as by helping them maintain a healthy spine.

Doctor Kozar Joined the Joint Team in August of 2022. He enjoys working with the other doctors and the front office coordinators. In his spare time he enjoys camping and fishing.
