Wild Hare Distillery is home to DROVE Spirits, an award-winning line of Blue Weber Agave and WHD Spirits, a line of small batch whiskey and vodka.

Our spirits are always available at our Tempe distillery, at many Total Wine locations in the Phoenix Metro area and at select restaurants and bars in Gilbert, Chandler, Scottsdale, Tempe, Phoenix, Cave Creek, and Prescott.

DROVE is a 100% Blue Weber agave spirit made in Tempe, Arizona. The nectar is imported from Jalisco and includes a mix a highland and lowlands agave nectar. Rather than removing the agave flavor, the Wild Hares preserve it using a pot still. In addition, all products are naturally flavored without added sugar.

WHD Spirits are unique whiskeys and vodkas. The WHD Whiskey comes in three versions: regular, barrel strength, and rye whiskey. Recently added to this line is our signature small batch vodka.

Wild Hare Distillery is a small batch producer of DROVE Spirits. When you visit our distillery and tasting room, Wendy or Jim will walk you through our award-winning process. The tour is about 35 to 45 minutes, depending on questions, and they love questions! The warehouse is hot when the stills are running so be sure to wear appropriate clothes and shoes.

The tasting itself is an experience that takes time. You are encouraged to savor the distinct flavors slowly. Wendy will walk you through how to taste the spirit and what compliments them, so that you get the most out of your experience. The tasting room can accommodate 8-24 people with additional space for 10 more.

CaskWerks offers five handcrafted spirits. These beverages are made in our Tempe facility. We feature a smooth wheat based vodka, a citrus forward modern style gin, a unique tea infused gin, an apple pie liqueur and a barrel rested apple pie liqueur.

Each of the barrel rested apple pie liqueurs are offered on a limited basis.

CaskWerks Distilling Co. is a dream many years in the making. The result of a collective vision, the journey has taken the founders on an odyssey filled with hope, inspiration and small victories. At times this project was believed to be dead but like the mighty Phoenix, it rose from the ashes.

Reminiscent of days gone by, you will never see an automated still in our small production facility. Many of the giant spirits brands use equipment that would remind most people of an oil refinery. That kind of equipment may be most profitable but can never convey the passion or craftsmanship that will come through in our products.


Those intangibles cannot be bought, manufactured, or manipulated; they seem to evolve purely and organically when intention, desire and creativity are all present and in harmony.

Throughout history, casks have played a significant role in the aging of spirits, wine, beer and even balsamic vinegar. There is something almost magical that develops while a spirit is in a cask. Though this phenomenon of spirit contacting wood, it develops character. This character can be both subtle and bold at times imparting both colors and flavors that cannot be replicated in another process.

The making of a cask is almost a lost art in itself. Throughout history, generations of coopers have passed down this craft. The cask is tribute to the timeless art of aging brown spirits.
