Welcome to the Tucson CSA. We welcome all who want to participate in a healthier and more sustainable food system. Our mission at Tucson CSA is to connect and support local producers and consumers of naturally and sustainably grown and produced seasonal foods. We now accept SNAP in our shop and for our produce shares using Arizona Double Up Bucks!


Community Supported Agriculture programs support local producers by providing them with a consistent end market.


When members prepay for a subscription, they are pledging to support a local producer and share the risk and rewards of local farming.

Members also have the option of adding shares of other items such as bread, mushrooms, goat cheese and/or sprouts, based on availability. Additional local products are for sale in the CSA Shop weekly, such as eggs, pork, beef, honey and much more.

At Tucson CSA, members have the choice to sign up for a 6 or 12 week non-refundable subscription of seasonal veggie shares (7-8 items weekly) from local farms at $26/week.

Pick up your produce share, other optional additional shares (i.e. bread, goat cheese, mushrooms, sprouts) and other local items from our CSA Shop each week on your designated Tuesday or Wednesday pick-up day.

4worldlovers: Run by members of the Tohono O'odham Nation, this community farm nurtures traditional desert cultivars.


The San Xavier Cooperative Association is committed to healthy farming practices and growing traditional crops to support the cultural and environmental values, as well as support economic development within the community.

The San Xavier Cooperative Farm considers the following aspects (and others) of the Tohono O’odham Himdag, or Way of Life, to ensure that decisions in the farm’s rehabilitation project are consistent with the culture.

→ Improve health of land each year through wise use of available resources, including CAP water.

→ Use existing topographical characteristics of land in determining designs and water systems.

→ The Tohono O’odham culture teaches the younger generations that water is sacred, as the culture is built around the calling for, and celebration of, the coming of rain.

→ Serve as a venue for Elders to pass on traditional knowledge about farming and the Himdag.

→ Make traditional food crops available to help the community achieve a state of wellness.

→ Create stronger ties throughout the community, especially between Elders and younger generations.

→ Acknowledge the usefulness of animals who pollinate crops, aerate the soil, and rejuvenate the mineral content of the land.

→ Develop a farm plan that includes attracting pollinators to assist with growing crops.

→ Include the assistance of underground animals and micro biotic organisms in the plan for the successful growing of crops.

→ Use a method of controlling “pests” that do not harm the beneficial animals.

→ Provide opportunities to enhance successful harvests with ceremonies throughout the growing season.

→ Grow crops that were developed by those “Who Have Gone Before.”

Las Milpitas de Cottonwood is a six-acre community farm located on the banks of the Santa Cruz River in Tucson. We provide materials, education, and support for local residents to grow food for themselves, making healthy, homegrown food more accessible to low-income families.

Our farm is a unique community-building space where neighbors can gather, connect, learn, and share. The farm is also an educational site where we train and build leaders in desert food cultivation through workshops, work days, and partnerships with local schools.

At Las Milpitas, we aim to bring residents from all areas of Tucson together to build community and create strong leaders who can create and advocate for a resilient, sustainable local food system.
