Built in the historic Sam Hughes neighborhood, sometime in the early 1930s, this original adobe home has been thoughtfully renovated to serve as an impeccable bed and breakfast for those looking for an authentic Southwestern getaway.

When the main house was built in the 1930s, 2nd street was a dirt road. Legend has it that workmen dug up 2nd street to find the material to make the adobe bricks! For many years, the Adobe Rose was a private house and at some point in the 1950s the then owners put a casita in next to the main house. In the 1960s a swimming pool was added and in the 1980’s our second building that fronts onto 2nd street was added.

During the addition of our second building, the then owners turned the property into a bed and breakfast inn and named it the Adobe Rose Inn. Since then there have been two prior owners until it was acquired by Azure Hospitality LLC in October of 2018.

Since the time the Adobe Rose Inn came under new ownership in 2018, the Owners and Innkeepers have been restoring and renovating the property to ensure that this beautiful hidden gem, which is located two and a half blocks from the heart of the University of Arizona and just a few minutes from Banner University Medical Center, shines in all of its splendor. We can’t wait to welcome you to this Tucson treasure.

Rent a home, superior room or the whole property! We have two historic houses built in 1896 and 1917. One home has two bedrooms & two baths. The second home has One bedroom & one bath. The home rentals are great for our guests that prefer a little more space. Both home rentals have a living room, dining room and a fully stocked kitchen. If you decide to rent a superior room you will not have access to any of the home rentals or kitchen areas. We also have 5 superior suites with private entrances. All areas have been lovingly restored and decorated in period decor. Our themed superior rooms are a fun alternative with several different options. All of this takes place in a beautiful setting with a large, lush courtyard just 2 minutes from the heart of downtown Tucson. Visit local shops on 4th Avenue! Catch the Sunlink trolley to go to the University of Arizona or visit one of Tucson's many great attractions. We are centrally located and only 15 minutes from the Tucson International Airport.

A variety of choices await you with too many to list here. The 4th Avenue Superior room has one large bedroom with a king bed and spacious bathroom. The Fountain View Superior room has one bedroom and one bath with the original 1896 tub! All of the rooms have either Queen or King beds with their own bathrooms and private entrances. All rooms have smart televisons, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee makers and the entire property has high speed WiFi. There is a gas firepit as well as an expansive courtyard with a large tower fountain and a beautiful wall fountain. The courtyard is often full of flowering plants, butterflies and birds and is big enough for large gatherings or parties.
