Kaizen Kan Kyokushin Karate is a great traditional full contact karate school. Not your normal McDojo. Excellent for adults and kids. Experienced instructors that understand your needs and necessities. Hands down best karate school in Tucson. If you are doubtful go check it out, it will be worth your while.

While doing a project with Scott and his program, I witnessed his classes taking place. A true spectacle of learning of instruction.

This is a 5-star dojo! The training is hard and the workouts are demanding, BUT the gains are real and they are earned. This school is able to take someone like me--who is in their late thirties, struggling with obesity, accustomed to a sedentary lifestyle--and get them into a mental and physical condition where they are able to compete in crossfit and martial arts competitions within their first 4 to 5 months of training! The instructor and senior students are passionate and driven to help others to persevere. The curriculum emphasizes physical training and the variety has kept me engaged, and the workouts are appropriately scaled to my physical abilities. It is extremely encouraging to see the progress one makes, months down the road when comparing metrics from previous scored workouts. I have had a lot to overcome, but I am proud of the achievements that I have made. Everyone has physical and mental barriers to break through, but I can say from personal experience that training at Valor & Virtue Martial Arts Academy LLC has a lot to offer anyone with an interest in martial arts and physical fitness.
