Ramon Gonzales, owner and operator of Fat Noodle, was born and raised right here in Tucson. He started off as a baker before finding his passion for ramen. After studying at the Yamato School of Ramen in Los Angeles, he opened the Fat Noodle ramen truck in 2014.

From the beginning, we have used locally sourced Sonoran wheat for our noodles. We are proud to be a part of the Tucson community and to be a locally owned and operated ramen food truck

Enjoy our traditional ramen, which features our made- from-scratch noodles and flavorful broth. We simmer our broth over a length of several hours and every bowl is truly a labor of love. This is nothing like the ramen packages you get at the store. It’s the real deal!

You’ve got to try our burgers, which have a bun made from our house noodles. We have two Different options: the classic FN Burger with hoisin sauce and spicy mayo, or the SOS with caramelized onions and shiitake mushrooms.

Start your meal out with a shareable appetizer, or keep it all for yourself – we don’t judge! Our “Fat-Snacks” include tempura, bao buns, gyoza, and sticky wings.

Our bowls can be served with our house-made noodles or rice. Choose pork, chicken, tofu, or ahi tuna.

Delicious food! The dumplings and noodles are made in house. The wait staff were extremely nice and helpful and the food came out fast and hot. Will be trying other items on the menu next time.

Staff is always super friendly and attentive. The food speaks for itself. It's the best Asian food in town. We had the Kung Fu Beef Noodle soup, Chicken fried rice and House Lo Mein. All were super delicious and came out quickly.
