4worldlovers: Pima Pistol Club is an outdoor pistol & rifle complex located in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains just northwest of Tucson, Arizona. We feature both public and private ranges for visitors and members.

We are one of the oldest continuously operating ranges in the United States. For over 100 years, we have served the community, match competitors, law enforcement and the military from our range facilities.


Organized in 1916 and incorporated in 1920, our original range was near Starr Pass and it stood there for decades. In 1967, Pima Pistol Club ventured out to stand alone near the border of what is now Oro Valley & Catalina - just northwest of the city.


PPC members include everyone from casual enthusiasts, to first responders, to Olympians and National & World Champions.


Our mission today carries with it the ideals of our past - to serve our community, to preserve tradition, and to remain connected to the legacy of Arizona, America, and the American Southwest.

It is the range users responsibility to bring water/sports drink/ hydration to the range.


The range has water for anyone that asks but, it is not the responsibility of PPC or Range Officers to hand it out. Match shooters should bring their own hydration when they will be competing for several hours.


The match fees are for the match, not to provide refreshments. Competitors bring their firearm, ammunition and other equipment to compete. They should also bring a means of staying hydrated.

The PPC BoD meeting held on August 8, 2023 included a proposed vote to various bylaw changes which requires a 45 day notice for the membership to review the proposed changes before any vote is taken.

One area of training that is sometimes overlooked until it is too late is Emergency Medical Response. You may have an IFAK, but were you really trained to use one properly?

Maggie Mordaunt & Ken Ortega from HPP Training in Nevada have trained groups across the Southwest - from Marines at Camp Pendleton, to security details at the Venetian in Las Vegas, to courses at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, NM.

As part of the Personal Defense Network Training Tour sponsored by Canik, G-code, Freedom Munitions and others, they will be offering two specific single day training classes at PPC on October 7 & 8.

The course lead instructors hold over 50 advanced firearms certifications and have positions as Bass Pro Shop Training Pro Staff Members and 5.11 Tactical

Paige Roux is a Firearms Instructor and former Training Coordinator for Shooter’s World in Phoenix, Arizona. She specializes in new firearms users and women's oriented training.

Paige is also the host of Turning Point USA’s weekly show, Reloaded, hosted on TPUSA LIVE. Each week, she carefully explains the intricacies of America’s most popular firearms and shares important firearm safety protocols.

Paige will run her Women's Pistol Foundations course at the PPC on Sept. 23 & Oct. 14, 2023.

The Tucson Trap and Skeet Club has served southern Arizona’s shooting sportsman since its original incorporation in 1948. The club has been in its present location, west of historic Tucson, since early 1976 when construction on the 80-acre site was completed. In 2011, Tucson Trap and Skeet added 300 acres of leased land from Pima County. The Sporting Clay course is located on this new addition as well as the 25 new traps and 7 new skeet fields.
